Purchases via Blogs

I love it when you find just what your looking for.... This is what I knew when I received my latest purchase found via a lovely lady, Pamela of Mountain Living. This gorgeous cushion cover has been beautifully made by Pamela and I think its perfect for my linen wingback chair. It seems this chair has featured in a few posts and will be in more to come - I know Im obsessed with her!

I love the french pom poms!!
Esquisitely made
beautifully wrapped I left it for a few moments before opening...

For me, the reverse side, divine paisley

You can visit her ebay store missgingham for various other designs. Her store and blog are well worth a look.
Thank you Pamela, the cushion will be treasured for a very long time...

Also a little while back I purchased some tags and magnets from Michelle @  The Paper Tree Design, and featured them in a post with some other purchases. Her items are great quality, super stylish and very reasonable. I knew I wanted something to label my storage baskets  (purchased for $6 each and fitting perfectly in the old shelf unit) and these were perfect. Instead of using all of the tags for gifts I have used some of them here ...
the owl is just one of six various designs in the packet

'A little birdie told me'

Hope you are all having a great weekend.

will be using one of these bird tags on my gift for my best friend this weekend

She creates these from old books sourced from op-shops

loving owls at the moment

and these gorgeous magnets (sorry photo not very clear) have 'love', 'xoxo',
a love heart, an owl and various other words/symbols on them (holding up my invite to my great nieces birthday)
Everything is beautifully made.

I also purchased this latte cosy for my girlfriend from madeit.com made by DJ Treasures

Browsing through the op-shops on a rare day to dawdle, I found these items

Two clutch bags for $3 each
This silver tray with little ball feet for $2
and this for $3 - think I need some little apples or a topiary from Letitia's store for this.

Hope you are enjoying your week

The Velvet Aspect

Brings back images from the 80's - not that I remember much!! - but cant believe I now love it... Have recently purchased some 'robins/duck egg blue' cushions for my future bedroom makeover, and felt inspired by these gorgeous seating areas. Wish I had kept the black velvet jeans from way back when!!
