Purchases via Blogs

I love it when you find just what your looking for.... This is what I knew when I received my latest purchase found via a lovely lady, Pamela of Mountain Living. This gorgeous cushion cover has been beautifully made by Pamela and I think its perfect for my linen wingback chair. It seems this chair has featured in a few posts and will be in more to come - I know Im obsessed with her!

I love the french pom poms!!
Esquisitely made
beautifully wrapped I left it for a few moments before opening...

For me, the reverse side, divine paisley

You can visit her ebay store missgingham for various other designs. Her store and blog are well worth a look.
Thank you Pamela, the cushion will be treasured for a very long time...

Also a little while back I purchased some tags and magnets from Michelle @  The Paper Tree Design, and featured them in a post with some other purchases. Her items are great quality, super stylish and very reasonable. I knew I wanted something to label my storage baskets  (purchased for $6 each and fitting perfectly in the old shelf unit) and these were perfect. Instead of using all of the tags for gifts I have used some of them here ...
the owl is just one of six various designs in the packet

'A little birdie told me'

Hope you are all having a great weekend.

  2. Hi Bec,
Glad you liked the cushion cover and thank you for the pictures. What a lovely old wing chair. Is it old? It looks like quite a large one and very comfortable. One can never have too many wing chairs.
Aren't there some gorgeous paper products around now? Love the tags.
    Thanks, Pamela xxx

  5. Rebecca these cushions are perfect on that fantastic button back wing back chair. Did you have this upholstered yourself as I would love to know where you got the fabric from. I have a button back sofa ready to be made over and that fabric would be divine - thankyou Sandy x

  8. Hi Rebecca, thank you so much for visiting me. Re the floors i bought this really good Sabco mop - its a duster and has a mop attachment which you just need to dampen and i squirt a bit of shower power on it. Brilliant and EASY!

  9. Rebecca I understand totally why you are a bit obsessive over that chair. Thank you for visiting and yes the history is attached. If I know any stories about furniture I restore and sell it always gets passed along. The pieces are much more precious because of it! Maggie is responding to the cortisone and is feeling much more comfortable thank you. Julienne xo

Paul is hoping to do a 48 min time this year.He did 49.05 last year. I did it last year too but felt like I was 80 years old for the next 5 weeks so will leave it to the pro this year! Letitia x

  15. I filled my last house with Pamela's divine cushions... every room! I am sure they helped me sell the house! Some stayed with the house and some I was fortunate enough to keep, to treasure here in our little apartment. They are little works of art. A-M xx

  22. Hi Rebecca
Just found you via your comment on Ness' blog. I too am anxiously waiting for my parcel from her. (I ordered one of her beautiful little heart cushions). I also love your cushion - there's something special and homely about pom poms. I can see where I'm going to be doing a lot of my Christmas shopping this year. Glad to have found you and can't wait to see more of your blog purchases. :)Sharyne

  24. I adore those tags!!! They highlight the baskets in an uber cute way. And the pom poms?? Oh to swoon over such cute fringe. They always bring such a playfulness to the fabrics.

Thank you for your guidance....glass is where I am leaning towards. Also the bathroom...oh the dilemma. I am such a neutral girl & I have been "thinking" about it for a few months. Thank you for your input.

    Cheers~

  26. Hi Rebecca, I haven't been able to visit your blog for quite a while as when I tried a "malware detected" virus thingy warning came up! It's gone now, thankfully. I had the same problem when trying to read Willow Decor. Pamela is very talented, I hope she's feeling ok..Rachaelxx
