High Tea for Mum

We enjoyed high tea for my Mums 75th birthday yesterday... didnt take photos of the delicate, delicious treats we enjoyed, but had a memorable afternoon with family and friends.
Finger sandwiches (my gorgeous daughter made these, hates salmon, but persevered to please us), savoury and regular scones (made by my brother - perfect - what a guy! assisted by his wife x), home made french strawberry conserve (first time i have made jam - gorgeous), french macarons (i will be attempting these again to get them perfect), mustard & spring onion tart, caramelised filo baskets, voulevants, mini cupcakes, mini lime cheesecakes, butternut creme' baskets, mini choc/banana cream tarts, mini passionfruit curd tarts, choc dipped strawberries, and last but not at all the least by all means!!, italian sambucca jellies with choc coffee bean top. OH and the all important Champagne of course, oohhh sorry the tea, just because it was high tea and Mum had the tea cups and saucers (antique quality) washed and ready, we went through the process and it smoothed down the sambucca jelly rush!! for a while. Thank you to all who helped and came to make such a memorable beautiful day we will cherish....
