Hi Rebecca!
ReplyDeleteGlad you're back. I enjoyed a bit of Sydney all the way over here, so thanks for that! I would love to go to Australia once, but my family is also afraid I might not want to come back after seeing all that your country has to offer... Have a good day!

Looks like the weather was nice to you while you were in Sydney, from what I've heard that's not been the case the last few days in SA (and no doubt add wind to that on Yorkes!).
ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous you went to Icebergs, I always wanted to go there
Hope you're having a lovely week
Melissa xx
Good on you for having a lovely holiday away! I am sure both of you needed it. Saw Maddy recently at the Curry Pub we are HUGE fans!!! Letitia xx
ReplyDeleteOh, you've brought back memories for me! I grew up in Sydney, I lived at Rose Bay (just around the corner from Bondi) and spent many a day wandering the shops and generally enjoying all is has to offer. Looks like you've had a great getaway, and welcome back! K xx
ReplyDeleteI do love my visits to Sydney though I don't want to live there again too much traffic, too many people!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your good wishes the results alas will not be good (but I can hope and dream) as the vet says there is no doubt it is cancer of the lymph glands. We will know the prognosis tomorrow but have already said no to chemo as it will make her very sick and not change the outcome. But...maybe...perhaps...he is wrong and it is just a ghastly infection. Well tonight I am hoping anyway so thank you for visiting. xx
Sounds like you had a wonderful time in Sydney and packed so much in :) thanks for leaving that lovely comment on my blog. Have a beautiful weekend xx
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a fantastic time. Thanks for the tips - I am having a girlie long weekend in October in Sydney and am really really looking forward to it. I will be noting down some of your destinations. Hope you have a great weekend. Michelle
ReplyDeleteLooks and sounds like a great trip, Rebecca. Sydney, I only know the gorgeous views by books and television. You captured the beauty perfect!
ReplyDeleteHave a happy weekend. xx
You sure packed a lot into one weekend! Sounds like you had a lot of fun! Glad you came home feeling rejuvinated....that's what getaways are all about!
ReplyDeleteX Briohny.
Oh, how wonderful! Sydney looks like an amazing city that has it all, nightlife, beaches, lovely shopping and culture, glad you had a great trip! I am enjoying your blog, happy to find you and happy to be your newest follower!
ReplyDeleteHi Rebecca,
ReplyDeleteThank you for posting so many gorgeous pictures of my home town. I do miss the old girl.
Did you get to see much of Paddington? I used to live there and opened my first shop on the corner of William and Underwood Streets. I probably shouldn't admit to that being back in the 70s, but they were exciting days.
The shop is now called 'The Corner Store' and is an up market dress shop. The building has been renovated and extended over time, but still has the same old shop windows and very worn stone step. I check it out whenever we make it to the big smoke.
Glad you and Maddy enjoyed your stay and took in some of the sights, such as those running along the sand at Bondi! And I'm very jealous of those desserts.
Thanks,
Pamela
