Thanks Sydney

Ive hardly been home since my return from Sydney, so sorry for the delay in this post. Id like to thank all of you lovely girls out there for your comments and advice on my recent posts. I appreciate every one of them. Please know I have read all of your posts, even though I have been quite busy, so I havent left many comments. The top spot recommended for my trip was to the Paddington Markets, but they werent on when we were there, so we ventured to The Rocks Markets - I thought they were great and love anything like this. Sydney gave us some great memories, lots of sunshine, and beautiful food and wine. We filled each day, and returned home feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.

  3. Hi Rebecca!
Glad you're back. I enjoyed a bit of Sydney all the way over here, so thanks for that! I would love to go to Australia once, but my family is also afraid I might not want to come back after seeing all that your country has to offer... Have a good day!

  4. Looks like the weather was nice to you while you were in Sydney, from what I've heard that's not been the case the last few days in SA (and no doubt add wind to that on Yorkes!).
I'm so jealous you went to Icebergs, I always wanted to go there
Hope you're having a lovely week

  6. Oh, you've brought back memories for me! I grew up in Sydney, I lived at Rose Bay (just around the corner from Bondi) and spent many a day wandering the shops and generally enjoying all is has to offer. Looks like you've had a great getaway, and welcome back! K xx

  7. I do love my visits to Sydney though I don't want to live there again too much traffic, too many people!
Thank you for your good wishes the results alas will not be good (but I can hope and dream) as the vet says there is no doubt it is cancer of the lymph glands. We will know the prognosis tomorrow but have already said no to chemo as it will make her very sick and not change the outcome. But...maybe...perhaps...he is wrong and it is just a ghastly infection. Well tonight I am hoping anyway so thank you for visiting. xx

  13. Hi Rebecca,
Thank you for posting so many gorgeous pictures of my home town. I do miss the old girl.
Did you get to see much of Paddington? I used to live there and opened my first shop on the corner of William and Underwood Streets. I probably shouldn't admit to that being back in the 70s, but they were exciting days.
The shop is now called 'The Corner Store' and is an up market dress shop. The building has been renovated and extended over time, but still has the same old shop windows and very worn stone step. I check it out whenever we make it to the big smoke.
Glad you and Maddy enjoyed your stay and took in some of the sights, such as those running along the sand at Bondi! And I'm very jealous of those desserts.
    Thanks,
    Pamela
